Kept under wraps until what felt like the last possible second - Senator Bernie Sanders, who also happens to be a Democratic Presidential Candidate, came to rally at Eastern Michigan University's Convocation Center to speak with not only students - but anyone who wished to attend. Rather than picking Ann Arbor's famed University of Michigan, many in line were stating that it was great that Bernie chose EMU, where there are many working class/middle class students. The crowd wrapped all the way down the street to Huron River Drive, and the stadium was 100% packed.
Sanders not only spoke on the key issues, but he touched base on Flint, Michigan's current water crisis, saying that "it is beyond my comprehension in 2016, in the United States of America, that we are poisoning our children." Sanders also mentioned that he did happen to call for Governor Rick Snyder's resignation, which got a resounding cheer from the entire location.

It wasn't all bleak in discussion, as Senator Sanders also touched on Marijuana usage and Gay Rights, and even took a moment to poke a teeny bit of fun at the issue of Donald Trump. Bernie happened to make the mistake of saying the word "HUGE" which should honestly be trademarked by Trump at this point - and when the crowd echoed in a Trump like fashion, Bernie says he can't say that word at a rally anymore without getting that reaction!
Sanders, along with competitor Hillary Clinton, will debate on March 6 in Flint, Michigan, and the event will be televised on CNN.
