With around 225 protests going on against Planned Parenthood going on around the country, the supporters of Planned Parenthood decided to counter protest, and gained far more numbers than those of the original protesters.

According to The Detroit News, over 1,000 counter protesters showed up to the event, and from the time it started around 8AM, it was still going on around almost noon, and the cops had blocked off Cass Avenue right in the area near Avalon Bakery.

Other protests were set and executed in Michigan, including in spots like Ferndale, Livonia, Warren, Ann Arbor, Burton, Grand Rapids, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Marquette, Muskegon, Petoskey, and Traverse City.

The pro-life vs. pro-choice argument has been a long battle between administrations, but the current administration remains an enemy of Pro-Choice individuals, and the defunding of Planned Parenthood not only would lead to unsafe abortions, but would also take away many women's preventive care. Many pro-life protesters get stuck on the abortion subject, but don't take into account what PP has to offer to women other than just safe abortions.

The protesters kept it respectful, but joyous, and the Fraternity in the area even contributed music to the event, after noticing what was going on outside their balcony. They even took to making a sign.
