Flint Eastwood, Tunde Olaniran, SYBLYNG Bring Fire In Fisher Lobby
By: Amy Cooper, ACRONYM
Last night, The Fisher Building did something very out of the box, or in this case, out of the theater itself, and hosted Flint Eastwood and a slew of talented artists, who played a full concert in the lobby, on looking the golden architecture.
Michigander kicked things off, and then SYBLYNG brought the heat with a whole crew of collaborators, including RV Mendoza and LexLander who were some of the highlights of the group.
You would think that it would be hard to follow that act, but Tunde Olaniran had people dancing, jumping, and vibing along to what he called a "safe space" free from judgment. And once he completed his moving and shaking, Flint Eastwood came with the final punch of excitement, previewing some of her Broke Royalty EP, as well as playing a few fan favorites.
Lead singer of Flint Eastwood, Jax Anderson, shared that the crowd had tripled the amount that they'd projected for the show - and made sure to remind every artist in the audience that you should follow your dreams, even if that means being a little bit irrational when it comes to chasing them.
Check out the photo gallery below (which is probably 1/4 of all the great shots taken), and look up some of the great artists that were involved in this musical arts exhibition. Thanks to Assemble for breeding such great artistry and musical community.
