District 1 Detroit is doing an awesome fundraiser with proceeds going to Detroit Dog Rescue, and they are throwing me (ACRONYM) and Mr. Heatcam into the firing squad. Come prepared, come original, and come rock with us at the InkAddict Flagship on August 13. ACRONYM Model Favorites Josh & Andria will be on deck for modeling - as well as a few more TBD.

From The Event:
"This behind the scenes photoshoot event will give people a glimpse of what goes down in branding. Naturally we want the brand to represent the best and we have been fortunate to attract the likes of Slow Roll co-founder Jason Hall, President of Scissor Gait Marty Sheedy, photog to the stars Dontae "Mr. HeatCam" Rockymore and Amy "ACRONYM" Cooper and drag race producer PAYSO. Atwater brewery was kind enough to sponsor some of their popular brews and will be available free after admission. Doors are $10 and our current designs will be modeled and for sale. A generous portion of all proceeds will be donated to Detroit Dog Rescue; which we are proud to know that they are the only no kill shelter in the city."
ACRONYM, as well as Detroit Ginger will be covering the event, both in story form and photographic form.

I am happy to once again be a media sponsor, photographer, and even a vendor at this year's Charivari Event!
Last year, I fell in love with Charivari Detroit as a whole. It's a very different feel than some of the other music festivals in the area because it is on Belle Isle, is laid back, and you can not only "Let Yourself Go" as the campaign suggests, but you can also spend time with friends, foster relationships with the people around you, and have multiple vantage points and space in a festival. There isn't as much of a stress on space, body to body, and is great for people who just love to enjoy music.
I've also been fortunate enough to be fostered into this family by Todd, who runs the event, and the importance of community is vital to how he (and by extension, myself) feel about this great festival. There's not just vendors and DJs, but there are people expressing themselves through dance, artwork, painting, yoga, and more. Come and see what it's all about - I promise you will enjoy every moment!
As far as my vending is concerned:
I will be located in a 10x10 area near the vendors, selling prints of my artwork, as well as some of the lines that I support. Come see what I've got, and keep me company, as well as check out all the fabulous DJ's and other artists!
From The Facebook Event:
Great ideas and events are often birthed by a group of creative individuals and tastemakers who make up an ecosystem of talent.
Detroit’s dance music community and history is one of the most rich, diverse and talent-laden of any city in the world! This community was created and is maintained by some and everyone – the dreamers and the promoters, the artists and the producers, the curators and the patrons, the master and the apprentice, the expert and the amateur ALL have the ability to contribute something to the community.
Join the possibility. Join in on the fun.
Share this event. Invite your friends. Bring the family.
We need your support in making Charivari Detroit GROW!
