Donnie Darko is returning to theaters in 4K restoration, and Cinema Detroit will be one of the theaters to show it!

Entertainment Weekly cites Cinema Detroit as being one of the featured theaters to play the newly restored film, and it will be playing at Cinema Detroit starting April 7.

For those who have not seen the film, it's one of Jake Gyllenhaal's starting roles, along with his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Drew Barrymore, and the late Patrick Swayze

The film encompasses character Donnie's dark mind, in which Director Richard Kelly takes time travel, twists and turns, and a Bunny named Frank, all down a very disturbing and haunting path, and has become a cult classic within it's 15 years of existence.

BRB, working on my Frank the Bunny suit now.
